IRIS Consulting Corporation Technical Product Owner in Atlanta, Georgia

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting sophisticated and detailed research of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/intent of the assigned products

Work with business Product Owner and SMEs to prioritize feature development, based on the business value

Work with technical teams to initiate and drive technical roadmap deliverables to completion.

Elicit and create initial epics/features and elaborating into user scenarios that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements

Deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mock-ups/demos, etc

Drive team excellence with proactive contributions towards continuous improvement.

Collaborate with a multi-functional teams inside a Scrum framework

Conduct work sessions and document new features, requirements, and strategies.

Perform testing, track bugs, enhancements and ensure issues are resolved before promoting to production environments.

Successfully handle multiple initiatives and balance constantly evolving priorities.

Query and analyze data to estimate future and measure current solution impact.

Develop business logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decision support models and tools.

Construct problem statement including problem description and improvement measures.

Always anticipate the next question -Drill down beyond the problem surface to understand root cause, business impact, and next steps.

Supply guidance to project planning and effort estimation within scope.

Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches.

Develop and maintain internal customer relationships

Quals--

The Lead Technical Product Engineer role is expected to have in-depth knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development practices. They aid the team in understanding upstream and downstream product impacts plus the underlying technology capabilities. They also provide end to end systems thinking, ensure backlog hygiene, and lead Sprint Planning with the development teams. They facilitate the creation of business process documentation, including current and future state.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise technology preferably Aircraft Maintenance domain

Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery

Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production

Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project

Strong written, oral communication, and social skills

Must have excellent planning and organizational skills, strong verbal, written communication and facilitation skills.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

Prior experience in working with complex critical applications and hands-on experience with querying and analyzing data

Ability to analyze and visualize data towards identifying the root cause of a business problem, building essential metrics and performing trend analysis

Hands-on experience in SQL queries, testing with postman or similar tools.

User interface design experience with tools like Figma.

Airline MRO or manufacturing domain experience.
